No Agenda-The Saturday Memo

The Show is healthier with sustaining donations known as subscriptions. Here are a few to choose from.
The favorite is the lucky $33.33 a month.
It has superseded the once popular $11.11 month. More lucky numbers click here.

For 2018 we have the $20.18 subscription. Click here.
Most recently the show offered the $4 a week or 75-cents an hour subscription which has become very popular. Click here for that.
There is also the $50 a month Knighthood layaway for 20 months. Click here for that.
And, of course, there is the do-it yourself open donation which is always welcome.
Dear Producer,
Easter Sunday is also April Fools Day and No Agenda Sunday. This particular Holiday is always bad for the show and you are invited to help boost contributions with a special budget date donation to celebrate Easter. It’s $41.18. If you want a special call-out you can contribute $401.18 and wish everyone a Happy Easter. Click here. That would be great.
Who designed these hideous rabbits and why does this continue? The photographers always wait for the moment when the President is in front of the bunny so they can make him look as if he has bunny ears on -- every year like clockwork.
When you compare religious imagery regarding Easter with commercial imagery (especially the giant bunny) does anyone think that much of it is sacrilegious?
Easter itself commemorates the resurrection of Christ, but the entire Holy Week and various tributes surround the holiday are complex to say the least. I’d recommend you read the Wiki entry here.

The computation of when the Holiday shows up on the calendar is complex too. This is one of the most sketchy “holidays” you will ever celebrate. And then there is the Easter Egg.
The egg is a symbol or rebirth. Staining the eggs was a symbol of the blood of Christ. It just deteriorates from there with the introduction of the bunny. It’s hard to say why hunting for the eggs is important and the “egg roll” is another matter.
Of course, it falls on a show day and, as usual, we work though it knowing that your participation is down. Many network TV shows use it as an excuse to take more time off. We work through it. So help us pick up any slack by contributing whatever you can afford by clicking here.
Your co-host,

PS Checks should be sent directly to the No Agenda Show, Box 339, El Cerrito CA 94530. Your support means everything.
